Navaid Ahsan is an Aviation Security professional with extensive strategic and operational experience in protecting civil aviation. 5 years as Director Operations (Airports Security Force, Pakistan) and 3 years as ICAO Certified AVSEC Instructor, he is also an AVSEC PM and has acquired broad competencies in managing security operations; developing, delivering strategies, promoting a security culture and developing high performance security teams. Conducted numerous AVSEC Courses as ICAO Certified Aviation Security Instructor. 28 years in Pakistan Army and got retired in 2018 as a Lt Col. Awarded Military Medal of Excellence for Meritorious Service. Internationally recognised for aviation security expertise. On 31st August 2021, Joined Etihad Airways as Head of AVSEC Operations at Abu Dhabi.
